David Gerstein

Born in jerusalem in 1944 and studied at the bezalael academy in jerusalem.  

From 1966 – 68 he studied at the ecole superieure des beaux arts , paris and then went on to new york in 1968-79 where he studied at arts students league, new york.

david did his post graduate studies at st martins school in london and also lectured at the bezalael academy in jerusalem for 14 years from 1971.

he is one of israel’s most famous contemporary painter and sculptor and has created hand painted sculptures indoor and outdoor.

his works are featured in numerous collections throughout the world and has held many solo exhibitions.
