William Stevens

William III, AN African American lawyer by training, is a ‘non- objective abstract painter, whose paintings are an outward expression in brilliant colours of his abstract interpretation of the world around him.

William starts with a base ‘colour feeling’ which is layer one on the canvas, and the final work have no less than five layers that are applied by his unique technique of a ‘credit card’ to apply the layers of acrylic paint.  This approach allows the owner of the painting to see and enjoy multiple images based on upon the angle of view, light and mood.

‘William III’s paintings are living works of art that seem different each day’.
